Speaker Biography:
Leslie Wood Bradenham is Principal and Fiduciary Counsel at Bessemer Trust. In this role, she is responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop practical and efficient wealth transfer plans, and for guiding the firm on fiduciary issues. Prior to joining Bessemer in 2025, Leslie practiced as a trusts & estates attorney, most recently as a partner at Ivins, Phillips & Barker, Chartered, in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Virginia Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, the Georgia Bar, and the Washington, D.C. Estate Planning Council. Leslie has been recognized by Chambers High Net Worth Guide, Super Lawyers, and Washingtonian magazine. Leslie earned an LL.M. in taxation, with distinction, from Georgetown University Law Center and a J.D., summa cum laude, from Washington & Lee University School of Law, where she was the recipient of the John W. Davis Prize.
