Program Description and Benefits:
In this session, Mr. Jacobs will offer strategic insights on culturally-sensitive ways to deal with clients who come from the LGBT community. That will range from initial intake differences, to discussions with clients about their objectives, and ultimately to the way documents might be drafted. Larry will also talk about reasons to encourage LGBT individuals and couples to include charitable bequests in their estate plan and ways to address their philanthropic goals through planned giving. He will interweave anecdotes from his more than twenty-five years of experience providing legal and estate-planning advice to both traditional and same-sex couples.
